Pete & Trisha Tie the Knot!

Trisha and Pete first met in April of 2007 at a mutual friend’s, Sally’s, wedding.  Sally was a high school friend of Pete’s  and a college friend of Trisha’s.

At the reception, Pete caught Trisha’s eye from across the hall, and she wandered over to where Pete and his friends were talking and asked him to dance!  Not in the mood to dance quite yet, Pete struck up a conversation by asking…”So, what’s your story?”

And so it began as two stories – Trisha’s story and Pete’s story…

Trisha and Pete didn’t see each other for almost three years after that night.  Pete tried to get together with Trisha many times, but got shot down!  Finally, in December 2009, she caved to his persistence and agreed to let him come up to Appleton, where she was living, and take her out.  Secretly, Pete thought he blew  the date, but Trisha knew they had something special.

After 364 days together, Pete took Trisha to Chicago to the top of the John Handcock building, and in front of the lights of the city reaching far out into the night, he got down on one knee and asked Trisha to marry him!  ”Trisha, I want our two stories to become one – our story!  Will you marry me?”

And so the journey begins!
